Common questions and answers

The EULA is a legal contract between Appfire and users of our products. It outlines your rights, responsibilities, and the terms of using our apps. Think of it as a rulebook that ensures everyone gets the best experience while keeping everything secure and compliant. The EULA applies to all of our apps sold on a third-party marketplace such as Atlassian, monday.com, Microsoft, and others, as well as most apps offered directly by Appfire, like 7pace Timetracker.

Most of our apps are simple and straightforward and sold via marketplace with little implementation or customization needed. However, Appfire also has a few much more involved products, such as Flow, that require a more complex set of terms. Those products are not provided on any marketplace and are governed under the SSA.

You can find the latest versions of both agreements on our website at the links below. The EULA can also be found at each third-party marketplace app listing (Atlassian, monday.com, Microsoft, etc):

We understand that legal terms are important, especially when you're evaluating software for your team or your organization. At Appfire, our End User License Agreement (EULA) is the standard contract that applies to the sale and use of all our apps.

Because we support a growing global customer base and a portfolio of 200+ apps with vastly different purposes across multiple ecosystems, we’ve worked hard to establish controls and processes to ensure operational efficiency and product reliability at scale. Our agreements are purpose-built to reflect standardized processes and purchasing options — they’re the only terms we operate under. This approach helps us focus on delivering secure, innovative apps at a price point that works for our customers.

For more information on our security or compliance details, our Trust Center is your go-to resource. There, you’ll find our Data Processing Agreement (DPA), certifications, completed questionnaires (like CAIQ and SIG), and answers to commonly asked questions about privacy and security. We hope this helps provide the clarity and confidence you need to keep using our apps.

We take security seriously. Appfire follows industry best practices, maintains SOC 2 and ISO 27001 certifications, and has a dedicated Trust Center to keep you informed on compliance updates. Learn more about our robust information security program at trust.appfire.com.

The data stored depends on the app purchased and deployment method (data center vs. cloud). Most of our cloud apps store minimal data, and when we do, it's strictly for functionality and support purposes. We comply with GDPR, CCPA, and other global data protection regulations. If you are buying an app off of the Atlassian marketplace, you can easily see the details of the data processed on the Privacy and Security Tab of the Atlassian marketplace listing.

Flow works a bit differently than our other apps. The app collects metadata from your development tools, including code commits, pull requests, ticket statuses, and workflow metrics. Rest assured, Flow does not manipulate the actual content of your code — only data that helps reflect team activities and efficiency.

Flow connects with the tools your engineering team already uses — like GitHub, Jira, and Azure DevOps — aggregating data to provide a complete view of your engineering workflows. The Flow app delivers actionable insights to improve efficiency, enhance collaboration, and boost predictability in project delivery.
In each case, data is protected in accordance with our industry-leading information security program. Additional details can be found at our Trust Center.

Yes! If your organization requires a DPA, you can find that on our Trust Center at trust.appfire.com.

Appfire might use third-party services or tools to provide our apps. The relevant subprocessors depend on the products you are using. You can see a list of sub-processors on our Trust Center at trust.appfire.com. You can also subscribe for updates to know when things change. In each case, Appfire has evaluated the subprocessor to be sure they are committed to providing the same level of service as you expect from Appfire. Also, Appfire is a global company and has team members providing development, support, and operations worldwide.
