Inside Sales Account Representative (North America)
Sales | East Coast, United States


As a result of Appfire's exponential growth we are seeking a talented and highly self-motivated Sales professional to join our team as an Inside Sales Account Representative. In this highly-collaborative, team-driven role you will have the opportunity to build your own book of business while also supporting the needs of the broader sales team within your region. This is a quota-carrying inside sales role that combines new customer acquisition with existing customer account management. There is no travel required for this role.

The goal of this position is to provide superior service to Appfire's clients and to grow revenue. The role will manage all aspects of Appfire's licensing client relationships.

As an Inside Sales Account Representative, you will be responsible for selling Atlassian's world class Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) software and Appfire's Enterprise Add-Ons.

Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities for new customer acquisition and existing customer up-sell / cross-sell opportunities
  • Manage the full lifecycle sales process for smaller deals, from prospecting and cold-calling through demo and close
  • Support Appfire's Vice President of Sales on larger deals by prospecting, cold-calling, and meeting facilitation
  • Conduct effective discovery calls and move opportunities forward
  • Fully qualify customer needs and professionally articulate Atlassian and Appfire's value proposition
  • Execute effective outbound calling campaigns
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on all sales activity in Appfire's sales tracking software
  • Effectively categorize high, medium and low value leads/accounts
  • Interact with other Appfire departments and/or vendors to resolve client issues
  • Ensure overall client satisfaction
  • Strict adherence to Appfire's guidelines and policies surrounding discounting and billing
  • Additional duties as assigned


Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have the following experience and attributes:

  • 3+ years of sales experience in an inside sales position
  • A 'hunter' sales mentality with a strong desire to build sales skills and advance a sales career
  • Prior software industry experience a big plus
  • Ability to manage a large number of leads, contacts, accounts and opportunities within a CRM system quickly, accurately and in-line with company/team guidelines
  • Experience and desire to work in a team-selling environment
  • Detail-oriented with strong time management and prioritization skills
  • Exceptional verbal communication and objection handling skills
  • Flexible, reliable, results-oriented and self-motivated
  • Experience with selling ALM tooling is desired


Compensation

Base plus commission. Highly competitive.
